Minnesota Chippewa Tribe

The Minnesota Chippewa Tribe’s official 2026 Election Calendar is now available for community review. This calendar outlines important election dates, including candidate filing periods, primary and general election days, and the processes for recounts, contests, and appeals, as established under the MCT Election Ordinance. Community members are encouraged to review the calendar to stay informed and engaged throughout the 2026 election cycle.

The Minnesota Chippewa Tribe, comprised of the Bois Forte, Fond du Lac, Grand Portage, Leech Lake, Mille Lacs, and White Earth reservations, is a federally recognized tribal government that, through unified leadership, promotes and protects the member Bands while providing quality services and technical assistance to the reservation governments and tribal people.
