Program (SCSEP)
The SCSEP program has been funded by the MN Dept. of
Economic Security and operated by the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe for 22 years.
The services provided by this program include:
Minnesota Indian Area Agency on AgingFunded by the MN Dept. of Human Service Board on Aging, the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe assists the Bois Forte, Grand Portage, Leech Lake and White Earth reservations with planning and implementation of nutrition and supportive services for persons 60 years of age and older. Services provided include:
Title VI Nutrition and Supportive ServicesFunded by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Administration on Aging, the Title VI program is intended to complement the Reservations’ Title III programs. The service area of the Title VI program is limited to Indian residents of the Ponsford and Onigum communities.
