The Minnesota Chippewa Tribe (hereby referred to as MCT) in partnership with Honor the Earth, and including collaborators from the 6 Bands of the MCT, present this draft of the Tribal Cumulative Impact Assessment (hereby referred to as the Anishinaabeg Cumulative Impact Assessment) regarding the proposed Line 3 Replacement Project by Enbridge Energy. Feel free to review and/or print the documents provided, but we are also developing plans to have hard copies available for community members as well. Upon review of these documents please share your perspective via the dedicated comment email – ACIAComments@mnchippewatribe.org – or in person through a series of public hearings to be held on each of the cooperating Reservations. Tentative dates for the in person hearings are: October 18th for the White Earth Nation (in the evening), 19th for Red Lake Nation (in the morning) and Leech Lake Band (in the evening), and 23rd for the Mille Lacs Band (in the morning) and Fond du Lac Band (in the evening). You may also provide more information and direct further inquiries to the dedicated comment email above, or to Nicolette Slagle at nicolette@honorearth.org, Research Director for Honor the Earth.
